Mike Hulbert
Michael Patrick Hulbert (born April 14, 1958) is an American professional golfer and sportscaster. Hulbert was born in Elmira, New York. He grew up in Horseheads, New York, and was a childhood friend and high school golf rival of fellow PGA Tour player Joey Sindelar. Hulbert attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee; he earned All-American honors as a member of the golf team in 1979 and 1980. He turned pro in 1981 and joined the PGA Tour in 1985. Hulbert won three times on the PGA Tour; his last two wins came in playoffs. His first win came at the Federal Express St. Jude Classic in 1986 by one stroke over Joey Sindelar. His second victory was at the 1989 B.C. Open in a playoff over Bob Estes. In his third win at the 1991 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic, he defeated Kenny Knox on the first hole in a playoff. Elmira () is a city and the county seat of Chemung County, New York, United States. It is the principal city of the Elmira, New York, metropolitan statistical area, which encompasses Chemung County. Mike Donald
Michael William Donald (born July 11, 1955) is an American professional golfer. Donald was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He won 1974 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) title while playing at Broward Community College and also attended Georgia Southern University. Donald's sole win on the PGA Tour was the 1989 Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic. He lost on the first playoff hole in sudden-death to Hale Irwin at the 1990 U.S. Open in Medinah, Illinois, after they had both finished the 18-hole playoff in 74. Donald missed a 15-foot par putt on the 18th hole of the Monday playoff which would have given him victory. In the 1990 Masters Tournament Donald tied the record for the lowest opening round score in the history of the tournament, shooting an 8-under-par 64 to equal the lowest first round at Augusta by Lloyd Mangrum in 1940. Fred Couples
Frederick Steven Couples (born October 3, 1959) is an American professional golfer who has competed on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. A former World No. 1, he has won 64 professional tournaments, most notably the Masters Tournament and the Players Championship in 1984 In August 2011, he won his first senior major at the Senior Players Championship and followed this up in July 2012 when he won the Senior Open Championship. Robert Raymond Tway IV (born May 4, 1959) is an American professional golfer who has won numerous tournaments including eight PGA Tour victories. He spent 25 weeks in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking in 1986–87. Early life Tway was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was introduced to golf at the age of five by his father and grandfather. He participated in his first tournament at age seven. He won the Redding Country Club Championship as a junior golfer in Redding, Connecticut. Tway attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he had a distinguished career as a member of the golf team — a three-time, first-team All-American his last three years. The Chrysler Team Championship was an unofficial event on the PGA Tour from 1983 to 1990. It used a two-man better-ball format. It was played at Boca West Resort and Club and Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida from 1983 to 1986; at Palm Beach Polo Club, Wellington Club and Greenview Cove Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida from 1987 to 1988; at Palm Beach Polo Club (Cypress and Dunes courses) and Wellington Club in 1989; and at Binks Forest Country Club and Wellington Club in Wellington, Florida in 1990. Dick's Sporting Goods Open
The Dick's Sporting Goods Open is a PGA Tour Champions event in Endicott, New York. It debuted in July 2007, supplanting the B.C. Open, a former PGA Tour event from 1971 through 2006. It is sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods, founded in adjacent Binghamton. The tournament is played at the En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott in Upstate New York. En-Joie Golf Club opened in 1927 under the original design of Ernie Smith. The golf course was originally built by George F. Johnson, the owner of the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Company. Johnson created the golf course as a place of recreation for his employees who worked at the local shoe factory in Endicott. In 1998 and 1999, the golf course layout was renovated by Michael Hurdzan. The Encompass Insurance Pro-Am of Tampa Bay was a golf tournament on the Champions Tour. It was played annually in April in Lutz, Florida at the TPC Tampa Bay. Northern Trust Open
The Genesis Invitational is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in southern California, first played in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open. Other previous names include Genesis Open, Northern Trust Open and Nissan Open. Played annually in February at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, it is often the concluding event of the tour's "West Coast Swing" early in the calendar year, before the tour moves east to Florida.
