Mike Hill (sportscaster)
James Michael Hill (born August 19, 1970, in The Bronx, New York) is an American television personality and talk show host currently with the Black News Channel and FOX Sports. Career Hill, who spent his childhood in both the Bronx and Bessemer, Alabama, enlisted as a reservist in the U.S. Air Force after graduation from high school. He began his career as a sports director at WDVM-TV, WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland, in early 1995. He got his first anchoring job later that year with KSEE-TV in Fresno, California. From 1997 to 2000, Hill spent time with WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, covering high school football and earning two Emmy Awards. From 2000 to 2002, he spent time as a host at Fox Sports Net in New York City. From 2002 to 2004, in his final job before joining ESPN, he served as a sports anchor at KXAS-TV in Dallas, Texas. Big3 (stylized BIG3) is a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by hip hop musician and actor Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. The league consists of 12 teams whose rosters include both former NBA players and international players. The rules of Big3 games contain deviations from the official rules of 3-on-3 basketball as administered by FIBA. Cameron Jerrell Newton (born May 11, 1989) is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He has played for 11 seasons, primarily with the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). ''First Take'' is an American sports talk television show on ESPN. Episodes air daily Monday through Friday, with the live episode airing from 10am ET until noon, with reruns from noon to 2pm ET on ESPN2 and from 2 to 4pm ET on ESPNews. The show broadcast from Studio E at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut for its first eleven years, before the show moved to the network's new South Street Seaport facility on Pier 17 in September 2018 after Labor Day.
