Mike Emanuel
Mike Emanuel (born December 10, 1967) is the Chief Washington Correspondent and a former White House Correspondents' Association for Fox News. He has worked for the network since July 1997. Emanuel has been based in the Fox News bureaus in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Washington. He hosts '' Fox News Live'' on Saturday/Sunday and regularly fills-in on '' Special Report'', ''Fox News @ Night'', and ''Fox News Sunday''. Prior to working for Fox News Channel, Mike Emanuel was a television journalist anchor/reporter for local TV stations in Midland-Odessa, Texas, Waco, Texas, Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles. Emanuel grew up in Westfield, New Jersey. He holds a degree in Communication from Rutgers College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) is an organization of journalists who cover the White House and the president of the United States. The WHCA was founded on February 25, 1914, by journalists in response to an unfounded rumor that a United States congressional committee would select which journalists could attend press conferences of President Woodrow Wilson. The WHCA operates independently of the White House. Among the more notable issues handled by the WHCA are the credentialing process, access to the president and physical conditions in the White House press briefing rooms. WRSU (88.7 FM) is a non-commercial college radio station serving the greater Central New Jersey area, broadcasting from the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It is a student and faculty-run radio station with Rutgers faculty member Mike Pavlichko serving as its Broadcast Administrator. WRSU broadcasts on FM and streams all of its programming online.
