Mike Dodson
Michael L. "Mike" Dodson (born November 16, 1945) is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 67th district. His term began January 11, 2021 upon the retirement of his predecessor Tom Phillips. Dodson was elected to a full term in the November 2020 general election, defeating Democrat Cheryl Arthur. Dodson is a general manager for Bechtel, the largest construction company in the United States. He is a retired United States Army lieutenant general and had previous political experience as a city commissioner and mayor of Manhattan, Kansas (2015-2018). Tom Phillips (June 29, 1956) is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 67th district. His term began February 1, 2012 upon the resignation of his predecessor Susan Mosier. Phillips was chosen by 21 of the 39 GOP precinct representatives in the 67th district on the condition that he would seek reelection in 2012. Phillips was elected to a full term in the November 2012 general election, defeating Democrat Aaron Estabrook. Colville, Washington
Colville is a city in Stevens County, Washington, United States. The population was 4,673 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Stevens County. History John Work, an agent for The Hudson's Bay Company, established Fort Colvile near the Kettle Falls fur trading site in 1825. It replaced the Spokane House and the Flathead Post as the main trading center on the Upper Columbia River. The area was named for Andrew Colvile, a Hudson's Bay Company governor. The fort continued to be used for some time as a center of mining and transportation/supply support associated with gold rushes in the 1850s, particularly the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush.
