''Mike Bossy the Scoring Machine'' is a pinball machine manufactured by Game Plan, Inc. as a prototype in 1982, featuring New York Islanders hockey star Mike Bossy Michael Dean Bossy (January 22, 1957April 15, 2022) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. Gameplay A warm up period prior to the actual gameplay is a unique feature that allows the player to test the functionality and features of the pinball machine gameplay. Up to four players can play. The score is kept between players up to nine goals. A red light flashes and a siren sounds when a score or a goal is made. Game Plan (company)
Game Plan was a pinball manufacturer that produced pinball tables from 1978 to 1985. Game Plan was a subsidiary of AES Technology Systems and was located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Game Plan's president was former Chicago Coin table designer Wendell McAdams. The company initially produced cocktail-style pinball tables and produced five different models in their first year of existence. The company began producing full-size tables with 1979's ''Sharpshooter'', a "Wild West" themed table. ''Sharpshooter'', incidentally, was Game Plan's best-selling table, having produced 4,200 units in all. From 1980 through 1982, Game Plan also released a small number of video games, most all of them licensed from other manufacturers, beginning with ''Tora Tora'' in 1980. The New York Islanders (colloquially known as the Isles) are a professional ice hockey team based in Elmont, New York. Mike Bossy
Michael Dean Bossy (January 22, 1957April 15, 2022) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. He spent his entire NHL career, which lasted from 1977 to 1987, with the Islanders, and was a crucial part of their four consecutive Stanley Cup championships in the early 1980s. Bossy won the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1978 as NHL rookie of the year when he set the then-record for most goals by a rookie with 53. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy in the 1982 Stanley Cup playoffs as the most valuable player and the Lady Byng Trophy for combining high quality play with sportsmanship three times. He led the NHL in goals twice and was second three further times.
