Mike Alessi
Mike Alessi (born May 19, 1988), sometimes known as “Mr. Holeshot”, is an American former professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2004 to 2019. Amateur career Alessi began riding motorcycles at the age of three and became a professional racer at age sixteen. His rise through the amateur ranks began at age six when he won his first national championship at Loretta Lynn's in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. After ten years, Alessi had tied James Stewart Jr.'s all-time Amateur National championships with eleven. Mike Alessi's talent has been overshadowed by his family ever since. Professional debut When Alessi first turned pro in 2004, he made an appearance in two races in the 250/450cc class. His first race was at Spring Creek Motocross Park in Millville, Minnesota. Ricky Carmichael
Richard Joseph Carmichael (born November 27, 1979) is an American former professional motocross and stock car racing driver. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 1997 to 2007 and in NASCAR from 2008 to 2011. Carmichael is notable for winning the AMA 450cc motocross national championship seven times and, the AMA Supercross Championship 450cc class five times. His unrivaled successes in the sport of motocross have given him the nickname "The GOAT"; standing for Greatest of All Time. His NASCAR career began with him competing full-time in the East Series in 2008 for Ken Schrader Racing, as well as part-time in what is now the ARCA Menards Series for Kevin Harvick Incorporated. is a Japanese company that produces a line of motorsport helmets. History Shoei is a Japanese company producing motorcycle helmets since 1958. Its roots go back to 1954 with the founding of Kamata Polyester Co., whose first helmets were produced primarily for use in the construction industry. Shoei's founder, Eitaro Kamata(鎌田栄太郎), was born to a family in Tokyo that operated a traditional Japanese restaurant, Edogin, and an inn near Shimbashi Station. Soichiro Honda and his colleague, Kiyoshi Kawashima Kiyoshi Kawashima (the first test rider and later President of Honda Motor Co.), who were located in Hamamatsu, became regulars for the inn, Kamata Ryokan, as they needed to come to the capital often. Victorville, California
Victorville is a city in Victor Valley in San Bernardino County, California. Its population as of the 2020 census was 134,810. History In 1858, Aaron G. Lane came to what is now known as Victorville and founded a waystation called "Lane's Crossing." For many years it provided shelter and supplies for people journeying across the desert from the east to San Bernardino. Lane's Crossing was on the Mojave River on today's Turner Road, two miles north of where Interstate 15 crosses the river. Lane was a veteran of the Mexican–American War who had had malaria during that war. Originally he migrated west to join the California gold rush, but he learned that he could make a better living selling supplies to the miners.
