Mikael Colombu
Mikael Colombu is a French music video and film director. He created the animation style ''Jankyvision''. Early life and career Colombu was born in Paris, France on April 25, 1975. Colombu's father, Jean Pierre Colombu, was a French surgeon and his mother, Jeanne-Aelia Desparmet Hart, was a French fashion designer. Colombu moved with his mother and younger brother Kevin Colombu to New York City in 1986, then Boston in 1988, and back to New York City in 1991. Colombu relocated back to Paris, France in 1993 at the age of 18. Colombu began attending art school in 1996. Arnaud Antoine Rene Bernard, better known by his stage name Onra, is a French hip hop beatmaker based in Paris. His musical style is a "chopped up set of RnB laden beats and electronically produced experiments laced with influences spanning the entire globe". Biography Arnaud Bernard was born in 1981 in Germany to French parents. His father is of Vietnamese descent. He moved with his family to France at the age of three. He discovered a passion for music at the age of ten and started making music at the age of nineteen. In 2000, he moved to Paris to pursue studies. ''Vibe'' is an American music and entertainment magazine founded by producers David Salzman and Quincy Jones. The publication predominantly features R&B and hip hop music artists, actors and other entertainers. Okayplayer is an online hip-hop and alternative music website and community, described by ''Rolling Stone'' as a "tastemaker" and "an antidote to dull promotional Web sites used by most artists". The community was founded by The Roots' drummer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson and author Angela Nissel as a loose musical collective in 1987, and evolved into an online community in 1999.
