Mijajlo Marsenić
Mijajlo Marsenić (; born 9 March 1993) is a Serbian handball player for Füchse Berlin and the Serbian national team. Club career After playing for his hometown club Berane, Marsenić joined Partizan in September 2010. He spent four years at the club and won two consecutive championships. Between 2015 and 2018, Marsenić played for Macedonian club Vardar and helped them win the 2016–17 EHF Champions League. International career A Serbia international since 2012, Marsenić participated in two World Championships (2013 and 2019) and three European Championships (2016, 2018 and 2020). Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. The town has a population of over 11,000, whereas its municipality area reaches nearly 30,000 people, making it one of the largest centres of Polimlje area. During the medieval period the land of Berane was known as Budimlja (Будимља). It was of great holistic, political and economic importance in the medieval Serbian state and its rulers. The 2022–23 EHF European League was the 42nd season of Europe's secondary club handball tournament organised by European Handball Federation (EHF), and the 3rd season since it was renamed from the EHF Cup to the EHF European League. The EHF European League is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 1981. It is the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. The 2017–18 SEHA League season was the seventh season of the SEHA (South East Handball Association) League and fourth under the sponsorship of the Russian oil and gas company Gazprom. Ten teams from six countries (Belarus, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia) participated in this year's competition. Vardar are the defending champions. The SEHA League consists of two phases – the first one has 18 rounds in which all teams play one home and one away games against each other. Afterwards, the four best ranked clubs played on the Final Four tournament. The campaign began on 30 August 2017 with three matches from the first round. The regular season ended on 17 March 2018. SEHA League
South East Handball Association League or simply SEHA League is a regional men's club handball league in Southeast and East Europe, divided in two zones. Due to sponsorship reasons, the league is also known as the Gazprom League (or Gazprom South Stream League earlier). The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations.
