Mihai Roman
Mihai Roman (born 16 October 1984) is a Romanian professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Liga I club FC Botoșani. Club career Roman started his football career at the age of 17. He made his way up by being a hard worker, and with the help of Razvan Lucescu, his former coach from FC Brașov. Before signing for Braşov, Roman was linked with other Liga I clubs such as FC Vaslui and Oţelul Galaţi. After two great seasons there, he received his first call-up for the Romania national team in June 2009. On 27 June 2010, Roman signed for Rapid București together with his teammate Sabrin Sburlea. On 29 May 2013, Roman signed for Ligue 1 club Toulouse FC on a free transfer for three seasons. FCSB On 20 August 2018, Mihai Roman signed a two-year contract with FCSB. Ligue 1, officially known as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the French football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Asociația Club Sportiv SR Municipal Brașov (), commonly known as SR Brașov or simply Brașov, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Brașov, Brașov County, which competes in the Liga III. The 2006–07 Liga II was the 67th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The name of the leagues in Romania was changed started with this season. (Divizia A was renamed as Liga I, Divizia B as Liga II, Divizia C as Liga III, Divizia D as Liga IV). The format has been changed from three series of 16 teams to two series, each of them consisting of 18 teams. 2005–06 Divizia B
The 2005–06 Divizia B was the 66th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them consisting of 16 teams. At the end of the season, the winners of the series promoted to Liga I, Divizia A and the last six places from all the series relegated to Liga III, Divizia C. A promotion play-off was played between the runners-up of the Divizia B series to decide the fourth promoted team. A special ranking was made between the 10th place teams of every series and the team with the worst ranking in this standing was relegated, as well. 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification
Qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. Each confederation — the AFC (Asia), CAF (Africa), CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), OFC (Oceania), and UEFA (Europe) — was allocated a certain number of the 32 places at the tournament.
