Mihai Adam
Mihai Adam (3 July 1940 – 11 December 2015) was a Romanian football player who played as a striker. Career Mihai Adam was born on 3 July 1940 in Câmpia Turzii, Romania and started playing football in 1956 at local club, Industria Sârmei. In 1962 he was transferred at Universitatea Cluj where on 19 August he made his Divizia A debut under coach Constantin Rădulescu in a 2–1 home victory in front of Politehnica Timișoara. In the 1964–65 Divizia A season, Adam who made a successful couple in the team's offence with Zoltán Ivansuc, won for the first time the top-goalscorer of the season title with 18 goals scored, also he helped the club win the Cupa României, being used by coach Andrei Sepci in the whole game of the 2–1 victory from the final against Argeș Pitești. Stadionul Mihai Adam
Stadionul Mihai Adam is a multi-use stadium in Câmpia Turzii, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of CSM Câmpia Turzii. The stadium holds 2,700 people. The name of the stadium is in honour of footballer Mihai Adam, who was born in Câmpia Turzii and started his career at IS Câmpia Turzii. He scored 160 goals in 353 Romanian First League matches, also managing to be three times the top goalscorer of the league. Câmpia Turzii
Câmpia Turzii (; german: Jerischmarkt; hu, Aranyosgyéres) is a municipality in Cluj County, Transylvania, Romania, which was formed in 1925 by the union of two villages, Ghiriș (''Aranyosgyéres'') and Sâncrai (''Szentkirály''). It was declared a town in 1950 and a city in 1998. The city is located in the southeastern part of the county, on the right bank of the Arieș River, at a distance of from Turda and from the county seat, Cluj-Napoca. The 1964–65 Cupa României was the 27th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Ştiinţa Cluj against Dinamo Piteşti. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. In the first round proper, 2 pots were made, first pot with Divizia A teams and other teams till 16 and the second pot with the rest of teams qualified in this phase. Each tie is played as a single leg. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. In association football, the referee is the person responsible for interpreting and enforcing the Laws of the Game during a match. FC Steaua București
FC Steaua București was a Romanian professional football club of which two current entities are claiming the records. The original ''FC Steaua București'' team was part of the namesake CSA Steaua București sports club and belonged to the Ministry of National Defence. In 1998, the club and facilities were separated from the sports club and taken over by a group of shareholders in a post-Ceaușescu privatisation scheme, allegedly leading to one of the shareholders (Gigi Becali) acquiring full ownership five years later.
