Miguel Ángel González (boxer)
Miguel Ángel González Dávila, also known as ''Excelente compañero'' (born 15 November 1970), is a Mexican professional boxer who held the world lightweight title. Amateur career González grew up in a middle-class family among the suburbs of Mexico City, Mexico. At the age of 15, he began his amateur boxing career under the tutelage of legendary Mexican trainer, Pancho Rosales. En route to an amateur record of 63–3, Gonzalez defeated future World Boxing Council (WBC) junior lightweight titleholder Gabriel Ruelas in 1988 to earn a spot on Mexico's Olympic team as a featherweight. He lost his first match to local Lee Jae-Hyuk. Jean-Baptiste Mendy
Jean-Baptiste Mendy (16 March 1963 – 31 August 2020) was a Senegal-born French professional boxer who competed from 1983 to 2000. He was a two-time lightweight world champion, having held the WBC title from 1996 to 1997 and the WBA title from 1998 to 1999. At regional level he held the European lightweight title twice between 1992 and 1995. Professional career Mendy turned pro in 1983 and captured the vacant WBC lightweight title with a win over Lamar Murphy in 1996. He lost the title in his first defense to Stevie Johnston the following year. In 1998, he captured the WBA lightweight title with a decision win over Orzubek Nazarov. He defended the belt once before losing it to Julien Lorcy in 1999. He retired the following year. Marco Antonio Barrera Tapia (born January 17, 1974) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2011. He held multiple world championships in three weight classes, including the WBO junior featherweight title twice between 1995 and 2001, the ''Ring'' magazine, the lineal and the WBC featherweight titles between 2001 and 2003, and the unified WBC and IBF super featherweight titles between 2004 and 2007. Luis Collazo
Luis Collazo (born April 22, 1981) is an American professional boxer who held the WBA welterweight title from 2005 to 2006. Professional career Collazo is of Puerto Rican descent, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Collazo won the WBA Welterweight title on April 2, 2005 with a 12-round split decision victory over defending champion Jose Antonio Rivera. However, the WBA had elevated Cory Spinks to "Undisputed Champion" status before he had lost his titles to Zab Judah, so Collazo was not yet the definitive champion of that organization. On January 7, 2006, Judah lost a 12-round decision to Carlos Baldomir in New York. A groin attack is a deliberate strike to the groin area of one's opponent. The technique can be quickly debilitating due to the sensitivity of the groin area and genitalia, and is sometimes used as a self-defense technique. The technique is often banned in sports. Groin attacks have been popularized as a comedic device in various forms of media.
