Miguel Raymondo Martinez (born 30 January 1988) is a Spanish-Lebanese professional basketball player for Beirut Club of the Lebanese Basketball League (LBL). He was a member of the Lebanese national team. Professional career Martinez started his pro career with Blue Stars in 2005, before moving to Champville in 2009 for a two-year stint. He then spent one season playing for Sagesse, and three seasons playing for Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. For the 2015–16 season, he joined Louaize Club for 2 seasons . In 2017 he joined the newly promoted team Beirut Sporting Club. In September 2019, he inked with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Miguel Martinez (born 1978) is a Dominican-American politician and former New York City Council member from the New York City's 10th City Council district, 10th district in Upper Manhattan in New York City, United States. He was succeeded by Ydanis Rodriguez, who won election as a Democratic Party (United States), Democrat on November 3, 2009. Biography Martinez was born in the Dominican Republic and emigrated to the US. He received his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Planning and Administration at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1994. Miguel Martínez de Corta (born 25 November 1981), known simply as Miguel, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for CD Calahorra. Club career Miguel was born in Logroño, La Rioja. An unsuccessful youth graduate at FC Barcelona, he moved to Real Zaragoza in 2001 but did not make an impact with the first team, only playing four games – all during 2002–03's Segunda División – and conceding five goals as they returned to La Liga after a one-year absence.
