Mighty Ducks (TV Series)
''Mighty Ducks'' (also known as ''Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series'') is an American animated television series that aired on ABC and the syndicated programming block ''The Disney Afternoon'', the last show produced by the block, in the fall of 1996. The show was loosely inspired by the live-action ''Mighty Ducks'' films and the NHL team, the Anaheim Ducks. Unlike the films and the hockey team, the show was about a team of anthropomorphic hockey-playing ducks. Twenty-six episodes were produced in total. The series most recently aired on Toon Disney but was removed from its schedule in November 2004. The series has been available on the streaming service Disney+ since its launch in November 2019. The series' main theme, composed by Patrick DeRemer, is performed by Starship vocalist Mickey Thomas. Story In another universe exists a planet populated entirely by humanoid ducks. Bradley Henry Gerstenfeld (born April 14, 1960), known professionally as Brad Garrett, is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Studio B Productions (later DHX Media Vancouver) was a Canadian animation studio founded by Blair Peters and Chris Bartleman in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1988.
