Toshirō Mifune
was a Japanese actor who appeared in over 150 feature films. He is best known for his 16-film collaboration (1948–1965) with Akira Kurosawa in such works as ''Rashomon'', ''Seven Samurai'', ''The Hidden Fortress'', ''Throne of Blood'', and ''Yojimbo''. He also portrayed Miyamoto Musashi in Hiroshi Inagaki's ''Samurai Trilogy'' and one earlier Inagaki film, Lord Toranaga in the NBC television miniseries ''Shōgun'', and Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto in three different films. Early life Toshiro Mifune was born on April 1, 1920 in Seitō, Japanese-occupied Shandong (present-day Qingdao, China), the eldest son of Tokuzo and Sen Mifune. His father Tokuzo was a trade merchant and photographer who ran a photography business in Qingdao and Yingkou, and was originally the son of a medical doctor from Kawauchi, Akita Prefecture. ''Speed Racer'', also known as , is a Japanese media franchise about Auto racing, automobile racing. ''Mach GoGoGo'' was originally serialized in print in Shueisha's 1966 ''Shōnen Book''. It was released in tankōbon book form by Sun Wide Comics and later re-released in Japan by Fusosha. Adapted into anime by Tatsunoko Productions, its 52 episodes aired on Fuji TV from April 1967 to March 1968. It was directed by Søren Kragh-Jacobsen. The film was a great success in Denmark and an international blockbuster, ranked among the ten best-selling Danish films worldwide. is a town located in Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. As of October 2016, the town has an estimated population of 16,901 and a density of 170 persons per km². The total area is 99.00 km². Mifune Town is well known for being home to Costco Kumamoto. The tooth is the oldest thus found in Japan and is assumed to be a back tooth from the left, upper jaw of a carnivore similar to a ''Deltatheridium'', an ancient marsupial relative that lived in what is now Mongolia between 145 and 66 million years ago. Mifune Chizuko
Chizuko Mifune (御船 千鶴子, ''Mifune Chizuko'', 17 July 1886 – 19 January 1911) was a self-proclaimed clairvoyant during the late Meiji period in Japan. Early years Born in Kumamoto Prefecture, Mifune was married in 1908. It has been stated that she was deeply religious and, at times, was hypnotized by her brother-in-law. She allegedly developed her powers at the age of 24 by breathing and meditation exercises. Fukurai Tomokichi Fukurai, Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Tokyo, was deeply interested in the supernatural and desired to validate extra-sensory perception. Fukarai's supernatural interests were heavily criticized by his colleagues, but he was convinced Mifune's powers were genuine when he privately tested her in April 1910.
