Midvale Fort Union station is a light rail station in Midvale, Utah, United States, served by the Blue Line (TRAX), Blue Line of Utah Transit Authority's TRAX (light rail), TRAX light rail system. The Blue Line provides service from Downtown Salt Lake City to Draper, Utah, Draper. Description The station is located at 7250 South 180 West and is accessible from 7200 South (Utah State Route 48, SR-48), both from State Street (Salt Lake County), State Street (U.S. Route 89, US-89) on the east or the Interstate 15 in Utah, I-15/7200 South (which is just a few blocks west). The station is more than a mile west of the historic settlement and modern commercial district of Fort Union, Utah, Fort Union and also a mile northeast of Midvale's historic downtown area. The low-density retail and commercial development in the area around the station serves as a bridge between the two more established centers, however, neither area has adequate direct service by TRAX due to their distance from ... Midvale is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah Salt Lake City metropolitan area, Metropolitan Statistical Area. Midvale's population was 34,124 according to 2019 estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. Midvale is home to the Shops at Fort Union, located on the East side of the city and the Bingham Junction economic center, located on the west side of the city.
