Midsund is a village in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the western end of the island of Otrøya. The eastern end of the Midsund Bridge is located in the village of Midsund, connecting it to the neighboring island of Midøya to the west. Møre og Romsdal (; en, Møre and Romsdal) is a county in the northernmost part of Western Norway. It borders the counties of Trøndelag, Innlandet, and Vestland. Otrøya
Otrøya (sometimes called ''Otterøya'' or ''Otrøy'') is the largest island in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island sits at the entrance to Romsdalsfjord, west of the island of Midøya and east of the mainland Romsdal peninsula. The highest point on the island is the mountain ''Oppstadhornet'' at above sea level. The main settlement is the Midsund (village), village of Midsund on the west end of the island. Other settlements include Uglvik and Raknes on the north side of the island and Nord-Heggdal on the southeast side of the island. Otrøy Church
Otrøy Church ( no, Otrøy kyrkje; historical: Sør-Aukra Church) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Uglvik, about northeast of the village of Midsund on the island of Otrøya. It is the main church for the Midsund parish which is part of the Molde domprosti (arch- deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1878 using plans by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 250 people. Midøya (sometimes called ''Mia'') is an island in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island sits at the entrance to the Romsdalsfjorden between the islands of Dryna and Otrøya.
