Midpark High School
Midpark High School was a public high school located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, southwest of Cleveland. It was one of two high schools in the Berea City School District, along with Berea High School. Founded in 1962, it primarily served Middleburg Heights and Brook Park, as well as a portion of Berea. MHS athletic teams were known as the Meteors with school colors of orange and brown and competed in the Southwestern Conference. At the conclusion of the 2012–13 school year, the school was closed and merged with rival Berea High School to create Berea–Midpark High School, which is located in the building that previously housed Berea High School. Beginning with the 2013–14 school year, the Midpark building became Middleburg Heights Junior High School for the district's 7th–9th grade students. Middleburg Heights is a city and a suburb of Cleveland in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population held steady at approximately sixteen thousand throughout the first two decades of the twenty-first century. Government Middleburg Heights has a mayor and council form of government. Lee Roberts (basketball)
Lee Roberts (born February 10, 1987) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Findlay Oilers between 2005 and 2009, where he won an NCAA Division II national championship as a senior. Since 2011, Roberts has had consistent yearly stints in the NBL1 West in Australia. He has also consistently played seasons in South America since 2012. Early life Roberts was born in Seattle, Washington to army parents. He lived in Seattle for seven years before moving to Alaska, where he spent 2½ years before to moving to Cleveland, Ohio. Kenneth Peter Kravec (born July 29, 1951) is an American professional baseball scout and a former Major League pitcher and front office official. The , left-hander appeared in 160 games pitched, 128 as a starter, exclusively for the White Sox (1975–80) and the Cubs (1981–82). Kravec graduated from Midpark High School, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, played college baseball at Ashland University, and was selected by the White Sox in the third round (69th overall) of the 1973 Major League Baseball draft. Eric Ewazen (; born March 1, 1954, Cleveland, Ohio) is an American composer and teacher. Biography Ewazen studied composition under Samuel Adler, Milton Babbitt, Gunther Schuller, Joseph Schwantner, Warren Benson, and Eugene Kurtz at the Eastman School of Music and The Juilliard School (where he received numerous composition awards, prizes, and fellowships). He has been on the faculty of The Juilliard School since 1980, and has been a lecturer for the New York Philharmonic's Musical Encounters Series. He has also served on the faculties of the Hebrew Arts School and the Lincoln Center Institute.
