Middlesex County College
Middlesex College, formerly known as Middlesex County College, is a Public college, public community college with its main campus in Edison, New Jersey. Founded by the Middlesex County Board of Elected Freeholders in 1964, the two-year college serves the needs of Middlesex County, New Jersey, Middlesex County, as well as surrounding communities. The college also maintains two urban center campuses, one located in the Civic Square, New Brunswick, Civic Square government and theatre district of New Brunswick, New Jersey, New Brunswick and one in the city center of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Perth Amboy. The current president of Middlesex College is Mark McCormick, who succeeded Dr. Joann LaPerla-Morales. The college is built on a portion of the former Raritan Arsenal, constructed in 1917 for the United States Army. Middlesex Community College (Connecticut)
Middlesex Community College (Middlesex and MxCC) is a public community college in Middletown, Connecticut. It is part of the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system (CSCU). The college has an open admissions policy. MxCC has about 4,400 full- and part-time students enrolled. It is a commuter school with no dormitories. MxCC offers associate degrees, certificates, and specialist programs. History Middlesex Community College was founded in 1966 as a branch campus of Manchester Community College. New Jersey General Assembly
The New Jersey General Assembly is the lower house of the New Jersey Legislature. Since the election of 1967 (1968 Session), the Assembly has consisted of 80 members. Two members are elected from each of New Jersey's 40 legislative districts for a term of two years, each representing districts with average populations of 232,225 (2020 figures), with deviation in each district not exceeding 3.21% above and below that average. To be eligible to run, a potential candidate must be at least 21 years of age, and must have lived in their district for at least one year prior to the election, and have lived in the state of New Jersey for two years. Thomas John Giuliano II (born February 9, 1969), known professionally as Tom Scharpling, is an American comedian, television writer, producer, music video director, voice actor, and radio host. On September 17–19, 2016, three bombs exploded and several unexploded ones were found in the New York metropolitan area. The bombings left 31 people wounded, but no fatalities or life-threatening injuries were reported. On the morning of September 17, a pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park, New Jersey. Later that day, a homemade pressure cooker bomb went off in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. A second pressure cooker bomb was discovered four blocks away. Late on September 18, multiple bombs were discovered at the train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey. One of these bombs detonated early the next day. Vincent Prieto (born September 11, 1960) is an American Democratic Party politician. He served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2004 to 2018, where he represented the 32nd Legislative District.
