Middle Tennessee State University
Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU or MT) is a public university in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Founded in 1911 as a normal school, the university consists of eight undergraduate colleges as well as a college of graduate studies, together offering more than 300 degree programs through more than 35 departments. MTSU is most prominently known for its Recording Industry, Aerospace, Music and Concrete Industry Management programs. The university has partnered in research endeavors with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the United States Army, and the United States Marine Corps. In 2009, Middle Tennessee State University was ranked among the nation's top 100 public universities by ''Forbes'' magazine. Don Griffin
Donald Frederick Griffin (born March 17, 1964 in Pelham, Georgia) is a former professional American football player who was NFL Draft, drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 1986 NFL Draft. A 6'0", 176-lb. cornerback from Middle Tennessee State University. Career Griffin played in 11 National Football League, NFL seasons from 1986 to 1996. A two-time Super Bowl winner with the 49ers in 1988 and 1989, Griffin also played with the Cleveland Browns from 1994 to 1995 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 1996. The 49ers defense he was part of in 1987 allowed the fewest total yards (4,095/273 per game) and fewest passing yards (2,484/165.6 per game) of any NFL team. ReShard Lee (born October 12, 1980) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders. He played college football at Middle Tennessee State University. Early years Lee attended Brunswick High School, where he played quarterback. As a senior, he passed for 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns, while running for 670 yards and 8 touchdowns, contributing to 14 straight wins before losing in the Class AAAA championship game. He received honorable-mention USA Today All-American, Class AAAA first-team and WTOC-TV Player of the Year honors. He finished his eligibility with 4,175 passing yards, 56 passing touchdowns and 73 rushing touchdowns. Jeremy Kellem (born June 6, 1989) is an American football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Middle Tennessee State University and attended Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He has also been a member of the New Orleans VooDoo and Omaha Nighthawks. College career Kellem played from 2007 to 2010 with the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football, Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. Shawn Jones (born March 25, 1992) is an American-born Kosovan professional basketball player for Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Middle Tennessee State University, where he was named the Conference USA Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 2014. High school career Jones attended Hialeah High School in Hialeah, Florida. Richie James
Richard Rhondel "Richie" James Jr. (born September 5, 1995) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Middle Tennessee. Early years James attended Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. Along with playing football, he also participated and lettered in track, winning multiple state titles. James originally committed to play football for the Georgia Southern Eagles in December 2013, but decommitted after a coaching change. Amber Shirell Holt (born June 7, 1985) is an American professional women's basketball player most recently with the Tulsa Shock in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Early life Holt was born in Norcross, Georgia. She is the daughter of Cassandra Holt. Holt is joined by her two brothers, Cortez and DeMarkus Dennis. High school career Holt attended Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia. Holt averaged 19.1 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a senior while leading the Lady Mustangs to a 20–7 record. Bryan Kelly Holcomb (born July 9, 1973) is a former American football quarterback of the National Football League. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 1995. The Arena Football League (AFL) was a professional arena football league in the United States.
