The Microregion of São José do Rio Preto ( pt, Microrregião de São José do Rio Preto) is located on the north of São Paulo state, Brazil, and is made up of 29 municipalities. It belongs to the Mesoregion of São José do Rio Preto. A microregion ( pt, Microrregião) was a legally defined area in Brazil consisting of a group of municipalities. They were abolished in 2017 and replaced by "immediate geographic regions". Microregions were grouped together into mesoregions.
