The Microregion of Fernandópolis ( pt, Microrregião de Fernandópolis) is located on the northwest of São Paulo state, Brazil, and is made up of 13 municipalities. It belongs to the Mesoregion of São José do Rio Preto. Microregion (Brazil)
A microregion ( pt, Microrregião) was a legally defined area in Brazil consisting of a group of municipalities. They were abolished in 2017 and replaced by "immediate geographic regions". Microregions were grouped together into mesoregions. Estrela D'Oeste
Estrela d'Oeste is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 8,419 (2020 est.) in an area of 296.3 km2. Estrela d'Oeste belongs to the Mesoregion of São José do Rio Preto. Ouroeste
Ouroeste is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located at an altitude of 500 meters. The city has a population of 10,539 inhabitants and an area of 288.8 km². Ouroeste belongs to the Mesoregion of São José do Rio Preto and the Microregion of Fernandópolis. Fernandópolis
Fernandópolis is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The population is 69,402 (2020 est.) in an area of 550 km2. Fernandópolis is the center of the microregion of Fernandópolis with 104,623 inhabitants and area of 2,811.7 km2. History The beginning of the city has relation with the cattle creation in the region and the opening of a "cow road" (''Estrada Boiadeira'') in the beginning of the 20th century.
