Mick McGinley
Mick McGinley (born 1940/1) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for St Eunan's and the Donegal county team. McGinley is from Dunfanaghy. He attended St Eunan's College, where he played for the school team and was part of the 1956 MacRory Cup-winning team. He also won a Rannafast Cup with the College in 1956. McGinley won an Ulster Minor Football Championship with Donegal in 1956. He played for the Donegal county football team at a senior level between 1959 and 1961. At this time he joined the British Merchant Navy. McGinley introduced Dermot Desmond and Jim McGuinness to each other. McGinley has played in amateur golf tournaments in Ireland, Spain and Portugal. Married to Julia from Rathmullan, the couple live in Rathfarnham and McGinley worked in telecommunications. Sigma Wireless is the name of his telecommunications company. St Eunan's GAA
St Eunans GAA ( ; or ''Naomh Adhamhnáin'') is a dual club which plays hurling and Gaelic football. Their home ground is O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny. They field 35 teams, making them the biggest club in their county. One of the strongholds of Gaelic football in County Donegal, they have won the joint most Donegal Senior Football Championship along with Gaoth Dobhair who have also won 15. Considered Donegal's most prolific club, they are renowned for their conveyor belt-like consistency in producing players of senior inter-county quality, including numerous All-Ireland winners. Rathfarnham () is a Southside suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is south of Terenure, east of Templeogue, and is in the postal districts of Dublin 14 and 16. It is within the administrative areas of both Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council and South Dublin County Council. Paul McGinley
Paul Noel McGinley (born 16 December 1966) is an Irish professional golfer who has won four events on the European Tour. At the 2002 Ryder Cup, he famously holed a ten-foot putt on the 18th hole in his match against Jim Furyk at The Belfry which won the Ryder Cup for Europe. He was the winning captain of Europe in the 2014 Ryder Cup and the first Irishman to captain Europe's Ryder Cup side. Rathmullan
Rathmullan () is a seaside village and townland on the Fanad Peninsula in County Donegal, Ireland. It is situated on the western shore of Lough Swilly, north-east of Ramelton and east of Milford. Rathmullan has historical significance as the scene of the Flight of the Earls in 1607, a major turning point in Irish history. Places of interest There are also the ruins of the Carmelite Friary in Rathmullan which was built by Eoghan Rua MacSweeney in 1516. The Friary was sacked by the English garrison from Sligo in 1595. In 1617 the Friary was occupied by the Protestant Bishop of Raphoe, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Andrew Knox. A subsequent Bishop of Raphoe turned it into a fortified house in anticipation of a possible French invasion during the Napoleonic Wars. The Donegal county football team ( ) represents Donegal in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Donegal GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
