Micheál Ryan
Micheál Ryan (born 1978) is an Irish hurler who played as a left wing-back for the Tipperary senior team. Ryan joined the team during the 2000 championship and was a member of the team until he left the panel after the 2003 championship. Templederry Kenyons GAA
Templederry Kenyons GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "North-Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the village of Templederry. History Templederry affiliated as a club in 1887 with FR J. Frost C.C. and James Coughlan of Latteragh the leading organisers. However, from 1906 to the end of the 1920s the club had very little success. In 1931, a re-united Templederry parish team reached the North Tipperary Intermediate hurling final for the first time and had a comprehensive 7–4 to 3–3 victory over Roscrea. Templederry then went up to Senior but were unable to make the breakthrough and returned to Intermediate ranks in the late 1930s. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, the number of players and much terminology. The same game played by women is called camogie ('), which shares a common Gaelic root. The objective of the game is for players to use an ash wood stick called a hurley (in Irish a ', pronounced or ) to hit a small ball called a ' between the opponent's goalposts either over the crossbar for one point or under the crossbar into a net guarded by a goalkeeper for three points. The 2000 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship (also known as the Guinness Hurling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the 114th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament. The 2003 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Guinness Hurling Championship) was the 117th since its establishment in 1887. The first matches of the season were played in May 2003, and the championship ended on 14 September 2003. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league.
