Micheál Quirke
Micheál 'Mike' Quirke (born 1980 in Tralee, County Kerry) is an Irish people, Irish former sportsperson and Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager. He played football for the Kerins O'Rahilly's GAA, Kerins O'Rahilly's club and was a member of the Kerry county football team, Kerry county team from 2003 onwards. He also played basketball. In retirement from playing, Quirke became a manager at inter-county level. Early life and family Quirke is a great-grandnephew of Denny Curran, Denis Curran who won an All-Ireland medal with Kerry in 1903. Playing career Quirke won the Kerry Senior Football Championship and reached the Munster Senior Club Football Championship with O'Rahillys in 2002. He was never selected for Kerry in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, but was a member of the under-21 team which played in the 2002 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship. Kerins O'Rahilly's GAA
Kerins O'Rahilly's are a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Tralee, County Kerry, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. They are based in the Strand Road area of the town. They are in Division 1 of the county league which they won in 2006, and compete in the Kerry Senior Football Championship, County Championship. All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC) ( ga, Craobh Shinsir Peile na hÉireann) is the premier competition in Gaelic football. An annual tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), it is contested by the county teams in All-Ireland. The first tournament was held in 1887; it has been held every year since 1889. Each tournament ends with a final, played by the 35th Sunday of the year at Croke Park in Dublin, with the winning team receiving the Sam Maguire Cup. History The first Championship to be held featured club teams who represented their respective counties after their county championship. The 21 a-side final was between Commercials of Limerick and Young Irelands of Louth. The Laois county football team ( ) represents Laois in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Laois GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Kieran Donaghy
Kieran Donaghy (born 1 March 1983) is an Irish Gaelic footballer and basketball player. He plays for Tralee club Austin Stacks and, formerly, at senior level for the Kerry county team. Donaghy won four All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals, eight Munster Championships and three National League titles with Kerry, and is the recipient of three All Stars Awards. He announced his retirement from inter-county football on 11 September 2018. Donaghy is also a long-time basketball player, currently playing for Tralee Warriors in the Irish Super League.
