Michelle C. Skubic
Michelle Coyne Skubic (born c. 1961) is a retired United States Navy officer who served as the director of the Defense Logistics Agency from 2020 to 2024. Early life and education Skubic is a 1988 graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration-Finance. She earned a Master of Science in Acquisition and Contract Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2001. She is also a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College and the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Executive Development Institute. Career Skubic is designated as a Naval Aviation and Surface Warfare Supply Corps officer and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. The Gulf War was a 1990–1991 armed campaign waged by a Coalition of the Gulf War, 35-country military coalition in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait. Patuxent River
The Patuxent River is a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay in the state of Maryland. There are three main river drainages for central Maryland: the Potomac River to the west passing through Washington, D.C., the Patapsco River to the northeast passing through Baltimore, and the Patuxent River between the two. The United States Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT) is a theater-level component command of the United States Navy, located in the Pacific Ocean. It provides naval forces to the Indo-Pacific Command. Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) was the official name used synonymously by the U.S. government for both the War in Afghanistan (2001–2014) and the larger-scale Global War on Terrorism. On 7 October 2001, in response to the September 11 attacks, President George W. Bush announced that airstrikes targeting Al-Qaeda and the Taliban had begun in Afghanistan.
