Michele O'Callaghan
Michele O'Callaghan (September 14, 1963 – December 16, 2011) was a noted American makeup artist. She was personal makeup artist to David Letterman on ''The Late Show'' for 23 years and made occasional appearances on his show. O'Callaghan also did makeup for Bob Costas and Bryant Gumbel, as well as dozens of sports shows on every TV network. Personal life She was married to Thomas Togneri and had three children. A make-up artist, also called a makeup artist, and often shortened to MUA, is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatre, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry. Awards given for this profession in the entertainment industry include the Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and entertainment industry awards such as the Emmy Awards, and the Golden Globes. In some countries professional licenses are required by agencies in order for them to hire the MUA. Robert Quinlan Costas (born March 22, 1952) is an American sportscaster who is known for his long tenure with NBC Sports, from 1980 through 2019. He has received 28 Emmy awards for his work and was the prime-time host of 12 Olympic Games from 1988 until 2016. He is currently employed by Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, where he does play-by-play and studio work for the MLB on TBS.
