Michaela Morgan
Michaela Morgan is a British children's author and poet. She has written more than 150 titles between 1987 and 2018 and publishes between two and three new titles each year. These range from picture books to junior novels. Her work is published internationally, and is also included on the Signed Stories web site where books are performed in sign language for hearing-impaired children. Awards Morgan was shortlisted in the Blue Peter Book Award 2013 and named aInternational Reading Association Children's Choice(2008). She won the United Kingdom Reading Association (now United Kingdom Literacy Association)'s 1995 Award. Walter Tull
Walter Daniel John Tull (28 April 1888 – 25 March 1918) was an English professional footballer and British Army officer of Afro-Caribbean descent. He played as an inside forward and half back for Clapton, Tottenham Hotspur and Northampton Town and was the third person of mixed heritage to play in the top division of the Football League after Arthur Wharton and Willie Clarke. He was also the first player of African descent to be signed for Rangers in 1917 while stationed in Scotland. During the First World War, Tull served in the Middlesex Regiment, including in the two Footballers' Battalions. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant on 30 May 1917 and killed in action on 25 March 1918. Nick Sharratt
Nick Sharratt (born 9 August 1962) is a British author and illustrator of children's books, whose work is split between illustrating for writers, most notably Jacqueline Wilson from 1991 to 2021, and Jeremy Strong, but also Giles Andreae, Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen. He was chosen to be the official illustrator for World Book and Copyright Day, World Book Day 2006, and has illustrated around 250 books, including over 50 books by Wilson, among them ''The Lottie Project'', ''Little Darlings (novel), Little Darlings'' and ''The Story of Tracy Beaker'' which was the most borrowed library book in the UK for the first decade of the 21st century.
