Michael Walters
Michael Walters (born 7 January 1991) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally playing mainly as a small forward, Walters has recently spent more time in the midfield. In 2019 he was rewarded with his debut selection in the All-Australian team. He has been a member of Fremantle's leadership group since 2017. State Of Origin For Bushfire Relief Match
The State of Origin for Bushfire Relief Match was a one-off all-star game between two representative sides organised by the Australian Football League to raise funds for recovery efforts following the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season. The match was played on 28 February 2020 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, between Victoria (the " Big V") and the " All-Stars", with a crowd of 51,052 in attendance. Football Park, known commercially as AAMI Stadium, was an Australian rules football stadium located in West Lakes, South Australia, West Lakes, a western suburb of Adelaide, the state capital of South Australia, Australia. It was built in 1973 by the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and opened in 1974. Until the end of the 2013 AFL season, it served as the home ground of South Australia's Australian Football League, AFL clubs, the Adelaide Crows, Adelaide Football Club and Port Adelaide Football Club. The All-Australian team is an all-star team of Australian rules football in Australia, Australian rules footballers, selected by a panel at the end of each season. It represents a complete team, including an interchange bench, of the best-performed players during the season, led by that season's premiership coach. 2008 AFL Under 18 Championships
The 2008 AFL Under 18 Championships is the 2008 series of the AFL Under 18 Championships, a state and territory based Australian rules football competition which showcase the best junior footballers in Australia, primarily with the aim for them to be drafted into the Australian Football League. The competition is split into two divisions. The major football states of Victoria (split into separate Country and Metropolitan teams), South Australia and Western Australia are in Division 1, with the smaller football states of Northern Territory, NSW/ACT, Tasmania and Queensland are in Division 2. Unlike previous years, in 2008 the top two teams from the Division 2 competition advanced to be part of Division 1. Tom Scully
Tom Scully (born 15 May 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer. He played for the Melbourne Football Club, Greater Western Sydney Giants, and Hawthorn Football Club. A star midfielder at junior level, Scully was originally selected by Melbourne with the first overall draft pick of the 2009 AFL draft. However at the conclusion of his initial two-year contract with Melbourne, he accepted the opportunity to join the newly established GWS Giants in 2012 on a six-year deal. In October 2018, Scully was traded to Hawthorn for the 2019 season. He attended school first at Berwick College and then Haileybury College. Kevin Sheehan Medal
Kevin Vincent Sheehan OAM (born 1 August 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer for Geelong and the current Australian Football League (AFL) National Talent and International Manager, a member of the AFL football operations sub-committee and a selector for the AFL Rising Star award. Sheehan played 102 games for Geelong over nine seasons, but only managed 16 senior games in his final three seasons. During this time, however, he won three consecutive reserve grade premierships, captaining the side in 1981. After retiring as a player, Sheehan remained involved in the game, initially as the Victorian State of Origin team manager and then as the AFL national talent identification manager. He is honoured in this role by having the Kevin Sheehan Medal awarded to the best player in each year's Under 16 National Championships.
