Michael W. Ryan
Michael Wayne Ryan (August 3, 1948 – May 24, 2015) was an American convicted murderer, Christian Identity cult leader, and white supremacist. Crimes Ryan was the leader of a small, racist, anti-government group that occupied a compound near Rulo, Nebraska in the early 1980s. The group had loose ties to the Posse Comitatus, with links to the Christian Identity movement. Some of the main teachings within the group revolved around supremacy of the white race, antisemitism, homophobia, the downfall and hatred of "race traitors", drug addicts and non-European-descended American citizens, and a general distrust of all established earthly authority, especially governments and law enforcement. Christian Identity
Christian Identity (also known as Identity Christianity) is an interpretation of Christianity which advocates the belief that only Celtic and Germanic peoples, such as the Anglo-Saxon, Nordic nations, or Aryan people and people of kindred blood, are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and are therefore the descendants of the ancient Israelites. Independently practiced by individuals, independent congregations, and some prison gangs, it is not an organized religion, nor is it affiliated with specific Christian denominations. Its theology is a racial interpretation of Christianity. Christian Identity beliefs began to develop in the early 1900s among adherents of British Israelism by authors who regarded Europeans as the "chosen people" and regarded Jews and non-whites as the cursed offspring of Cain, who they believe was a "serpent hybrid".
