Michael Ugwu
Michael Ugwu is an investor and entrepreneur with experience in Nigeria's music and entertainment industry and was formerly the General Manager of Sony Music Entertainment, West Africa. He is the founder and CEO of Freeme Digital. Prior to this, Michael was the CEO of iROKING Ltd Early life and education Michael was born in Withington Community Hospital, South Manchester to Michael Ugwu Snr., who, at the time, was in the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives representing Udi, Anambra State, and Charity Afoma Ugwu. Michael's formative years were spent in North West London where the family moved to soon after the birth of his younger brother Nicholas Uchenna Ugwu. National Youth Service Corps
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the development of the country. There is no military conscription in Nigeria, but since 1973 graduates of universities and later polytechnics have been required to take part in the National Youth Service Corps program for one year.
