Michael Sutherland
Michael William Sutherland (born 23 October 1954) is an Australian politician who was the Speaker of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly, Speaker of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly. He was a Liberal Party of Australia (Western Australian Division), Liberal member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from September 2008 to March 2017, representing the electorate of Electoral district of Mount Lawley, Mount Lawley. Before state politics, Sutherland was a City of Perth, City of Perth Councillor from 1995 to 2009 and served as deputy mayor for five years. Sutherland retired from the City of Perth Council in early 2009. Between 1982 and 1987 Sutherland served as a City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, Johannesburg city councillor. The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (), is a multi-campus South African public research university situated in the northern areas of central Johannesburg. It is more commonly known as Wits University or Wits ( or ). The university has its roots in the mining industry, as do Johannesburg and the Witwatersrand in general. Christianity in Lebanon has a long and continuous history. Biblical Scriptures purport that Peter and Paul Evangelism, evangelized the Phoenicians, whom they affiliated to the ancient patriarchate of Antioch. The spread of Christianity in Lebanon was very slow where paganism persisted especially in the mountaintop strongholds of Mount Lebanon. A 2015 study estimates some 2,500 Lebanese Christians have Muslim ancestry, whereas the majority of Lebanese Christians are direct descendants of the original early Christians.
