Michael John Smith (born 17 October 1991) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for League One club Sheffield Wednesday. Career Darlington Born in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, Smith made his debut in the Football League on 5 April 2010, replacing Chris Moore in the 77th minute of Darlington's 1–0 home defeat by Hereford United in League Two. He scored his first Football League goal on 1 May, in the 79th minute of Darlington's 2–0 away win at Macclesfield Town. He joined Conference North club Workington on loan for a month on 29 October 2010, and made seven appearances before returning to Darlington. In his first four Conference matches back with Darlington he scored six goals. At the end of the season, he, Phil Gray and John McReady all signed new two-year contracts. AFC Wimbledon is an English professional Association football, football club, based in London Borough of Merton, Merton, London, that plays in the EFL League Two, after being relegated from the EFL League One following the 2021–22 EFL League One, 2021–22 season. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons. Macclesfield is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. Chris Moore (English Footballer)
Christopher James Moore (born 17 January 1984) is an English former professional footballer. He is currently a youth coach at Sunderland. Career Moore was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. He began his football career in Newcastle United's Academy, then played non-League football for Bishop Auckland and Whitley Bay before taking a degree in journalism at Rutgers University in New Jersey. On returning to England in 2008 he rejoined Whitley Bay, and, after a one-game stint at Durham City, was part of their FA Vase-winning team in 2009.
