Michael Riedel (journalist)
Michael Riedel (born December 24, 1966) is an American theatre critic, conservative broadcaster, and columnist. He is the co-host of "Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning" on 710 WOR in New York City, weekdays 6-10am. Riedel has been a controversial and influential Broadway columnist of the ''New York Post'' for over 20 years. Riedel's book ''Razzle Dazzle: The Battle for Broadway'' won the 2015 Marfield Prize for arts writing and is widely considered to be the successor to ''The Season'', William Goldman's classic 1967 book about Broadway. His second book, ''Singular Sensation: The Triumph of Broadway'', was published by Avid Reader Press, a division of Simon & Schuster, on November 10, 2020. Riedel's skewering of Broadway shows and personalities in his column have made him a controversial and often feared figure on the New York theater scene. Len Berman
Leonard Berman (born June 14, 1947) is an American television sportscaster and journalist who is based in New York City. He is currently hosting the morning show on WOR-AM along with Michael Riedel. Berman is widely known for his television career with NBC, specifically his work for the network's flagship station WNBC-TV. Berman spent 27 years as the lead sports anchor for WNBC and also worked for NBC Sports covering Major League Baseball and the National Football League. He was employed by WNBC until 2009, and prior to that he worked for WCBS-TV in New York City from April 1979 through August 1982 and WBZ-TV in Boston, where he announced Boston Celtics games on TV with Celtics legend Bob Cousy. Eric Bentley
Eric Russell Bentley (September 14, 1916 – August 5, 2020) was a British-born American theater critic, playwright, singer, editor, and translator. In 1998, he was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame. He was also a member of the New York Theater Hall of Fame, recognizing his many years of cabaret performances. Biography Bentley was born in Bolton, Lancashire, the son of Laura Evelyn and Fred Bentley. Bentley attended University College, Oxford, where his tutors were J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis; he received his degree in English in 1938. He subsequently attended Yale University ( B. Litt. in 1939 and PhD in 1941), where he received the John Addison Porter Prize. ''The Oh, Hello Show'' is a comedy act created by Americans Nick Kroll and John Mulaney that was popularized on Comedy Central's ''Kroll Show''. The show centers on Gil Faizon (Kroll) and George St. Geegland (Mulaney), elderly men from the Upper West Side of Manhattan who are known for their turtlenecks, misinformed beliefs, and tendency to say "Oh, hello" in unison.
