Michael R. Cunningham
Michael R. Cunningham is chancellor of the National University System. He previously also served as president of the university between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this he was dean of the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University. For most of his career, Cunningham was a business executive. He was the founder of Cunningham Graphics International, which was listed on the NASDAQ in 1998. Education Dr. Cunningham earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and business management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1982, his master's degree in graphic communications, management and technology from New York University in 1996, and his Ph.D. in administration, leadership and technology from New York University in 2005.
