Michael Morley (musician)
Michael Morley is an experimental musician and visual artist from New Zealand. Morley sings and plays guitar and laptop as a member of The Dead C, but also records on his own (and with collaborators) as Gate. Earlier, in the 1980s, Morley was a member of Wreck Small Speakers on Expensive Stereos. Morley founded the Precious Metal label sometime in the late 1980s to document, first on cassette and later LP and CD, his own work as Gate. Most of the releases on Precious Metal were limited to very small quantities. Morley currently teaches at Otago Polytechnic School of Art in Dunedin Dunedin ( ; mi, Ōtepoti) is the second-largest city in the South Island of New Zealand (after Christchurch), and the principal city of the Otago region. Mike Morley
Mike Morley (born June 17, 1946) is an American golf course architect and a former professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour for 14 years. Early life Born in Morris, Minnesota, Morley was raised there and in Minot, North Dakota, where his family later moved during his youth. He graduated from high school in La Jolla, California, in 1964 and then attended Arizona State University in Tempe and was a two-time first-team All-American on the Sun Devil golf team in 1967 and 1968. Professional career Morley won a handful of tournaments as a professional, including the satellite 1972 Magnolia State Classic, and the 1977 Ed McMahon-Jaycees Quad Cities Open; both events were opposite major championships. He had a great deal of success at the Bing Crosby Pro-Am finishing in the top-10 four times including a solo 2nd in 1976. Michael John Morley (born 18 May 1957) is a British banker who succeeded Sarah Deaves as the Chief Executive Officer of Coutts & Co, the UK Private Bank, from May 2009 until March 2016. Early life and education Morley was educated at Merchant Taylors' School in Northwood, London followed by Cambridge University where he studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Christ's College, Cambridge.
