Michael Koheleti Morgan (born 21 January 1995) is an Ireland international rugby league footballer who plays for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the Intrust Super Premiership. Primarily a , he represented Ireland at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. Background Morgan was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He is of Irish and Tongan descent. He played his junior rugby league for the Bankstown Bulls and attended Marist College Kogarah before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Playing career Early career In 2011, Morgan played for the Bulldogs' Harold Matthews Cup side and was selected to play for the New South Wales under-16 side. In 2012 and 2013, he played for the Bulldogs' SG Ball Cup side and played for New South Wales under-18 in 2013, scoring a try in their 56-6 win over Queensland. Guildford Owls
The Guildford Owls are a rugby league club based in Guildford, New South Wales, Australia. They have previously competed in the Ron Massey Cup, the Sydney Shield and have also competed in the Sydney Metropolitan Women's Rugby League. History Guildford were founded in 1953 although the leagues club at Guildford was founded much earlier in the 1920s. Guildford have spent much of their existence playing in the lower leagues of the New South Wales Rugby League competitions. One of Parramatta's greatest ever players, Brett Kenny grew up playing as a Guildford junior. In 1991, Guildford won the Ron Massey Cup which was then known as the Metropolitan Cup. Toby King (born 9 July 1996) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Wigan Warriors, on season-long loan from the Warrington Wolves He has played for Ireland and the England Knights at international level. National Youth Competition (rugby League)
The NRL Under-20s (known commercially as the Holden Cup due to sponsorship from Holden) was the top league of professional rugby league for players aged 20 years or younger in Australasia. Contested by sixteen teams, the Under-20s competition commenced in 2008 and was originally known as the Toyota Cup. The competition runs parallel to Australasia's professional competition, the National Rugby League, with NYC matches played immediately prior to the NRL games. Similar to the NRL, the NYC enforces a salary cap and puts a heavy focus on life outside football for the players. The New Zealand Warriors were the most successful club in the competition's short history, with three premierships from four Grand Final appearances; in 2010, 2011 and 2014.
