Michael Francis Moore (born April 23, 1954) is an American filmmaker, author and left-wing activist. His works frequently address the topics of globalization and capitalism. Moore won the 2002 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for ''Bowling for Columbine'', which examined the causes of the Columbine High School massacre and the overall gun culture of the United States. He also directed and produced '' Fahrenheit 9/11'', a critical look at the presidency of George W. Bush and the War on Terror, which earned $119,194,771 to become the highest-grossing documentary at the American box office of all time. Michael Moore (born May 30, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for BC Körmend of the Hungarian first division. Moore plays at the power forward position. High school career Moore played high school basketball at Keenan High School, in Columbia, South Carolina. College career Moore chose to play college basketball at Mount Olive after finishing high school at Keenan High School. Michael Kenneth Moore (born December 12, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Fischtown Pinguins of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Undrafted, Moore was signed by the San Jose Sharks to an entry-level contract. Moore scored his first NHL goal on November 17, 2010 against goaltender Peter Budaj of the Colorado Avalanche in just his second NHL game. He is best known under the ring names Motor City Madman and Man Mountain Mike Moore, and for appearances in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Mike Moore (born September 25, 1993) is a Canadian football defensive end for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career Moore played college football with the Virginia Cavaliers from 2012 to 2015. Professional career Ottawa Redblacks Moore made his professional debut with the Ottawa Redblacks on June 25, 2016, against the Edmonton Eskimos where he had one defensive tackle. In 2016, he played in eight regular season games where he had 10 defensive tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble. Mike Moore is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Bethel College (Kansas), Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas from 1999 to 2009, compiling a record of 47–51. Moore played junior college football at Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas and college football at Kansas State University, lettering for the Kansas State Wildcats football, Wildcats in 1990. He began his coaching career as an assistant McPherson High School in McPherson, Kansas and spent a year as an assistant at the University of Nebraska Omaha before he was hired in 1997 at Bethel as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. Michael Moore is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played in the Scottish Football League First Division for three clubs and is best known for his scoring record at Stranraer. Career Moore began his career with Hamilton Academical, and scored on his debut as a seventeen-year-old against Hibernian in a First Division match in November 1998. With Hamilton dogged by financial problems which eventually led to their relegation to the Third Division, Moore joined Stranraer in July 2002. Moore was SPFA Third Division Player of the Year in 2003–04, a season in which he equalled Derek Frye's record as Stranraer's top scorer in a season with twenty seven goals. Michael Moore (September 7, 1956 – July 6, 2016) was a collegiate football standout and native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He began his football legacy at Brainerd High School where he held numerous rushing records. He played his collegiate football with the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders where he again emerged as a standout running back earning both All Ohio Valley Conference and All-American honors in 1976. Mike Moore was drafted in the 12th round of the 1978 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He played in pre-season NFL football games with the Houston Oilers alongside of Earl Campbell who was also drafted in the 1978 draft. Moore is enshrined in the Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame.
