Michael Marquardt
Michael J. Marquardt is an American academic. He is a professor of Human Resource Development and International Affairs at George Washington University. He was the co-founder and first President of the World Institute of Action Learning (WIAL), a leading organization for certifying action learning coaches. Early life Marquardt was born in Tigerton, Wisconsin on November 13, 1943. He received his doctorate in Human Resource Development from George Washington University and his master's and bachelor's degrees from Maryknoll College. Marquardt has done graduate work at Harvard, Columbia and the University of Virginia. This helps improve the problem-solving process as well as simplify the solutions developed by the team. The theory of action learning and its epistemological position were originally developed by Reg Revans, who applied the method to support organizational and business development initiatives and improve on problem solving efforts. Tigerton, Wisconsin
Tigerton is a village in Shawano County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 741 at the 2010 census. History The Lake Shore Railroad ran through the area from 1879 to 1981. Established in 1896, the village is named after Tiger Creek. The creek is said to have fast-running waters that roar like a tiger.
