Michael Leader
Michael Leader (12 September 1938 – 22 August 2016) was an English actor known for his roles in the British television programmes, notably the soap opera '' EastEnders'', and for a minor part in the 1977 film '' Star Wars''. Life Leader was born in Hackney, London, in 1938. He was the son of the jazz band leader Harry Leader. Michael was married to a Dutch woman and became father of one daughter in 1975. In his spare time, he liked to be around in the Leyton Orient F.C. Stadium, as he was a fan of the team. Career Leader had a number of minor parts and appeared as an extra in a range of television programmes. His debut film appearance was a minor role as an imperial stormtrooper in the original '' Star Wars'' film (1977). Although only on-screen for a matter of seconds, Leader's appearance has attracted particular interest in ''Star Wars'' fan culture as he has claimed to be the stormtrooper who bangs his helmeted head on a door frame in a scene on board the Death Star. ... Hackney Central is a sub-district of Hackney in the London Borough of Hackney in London, England and is four miles (6.4 km) northeast of Charing Cross. The Hackney Central area is focused on Mare Street and the retail areas to the north of it including Narrow Way and surrounding local area around Hackney Downs railway station. As such it extends north from Regent's Canal (with Bethnal Green), takes in most of Broadway Market and London Fields, and follows each side of Mare Street till it terminates in the vicinity of Hackney Central railway station. ''The King's Demons'' is the sixth and final serial of the 20th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was originally broadcast on BBC1 on 15 and 16 March 1983. ''Keeping Up Appearances'' is a British sitcom created and written by Roy Clarke. It originally aired on BBC1 from 1990 to 1995 with two specials airing in 1997 and 2008 on PBS. The central character is an eccentric and snobbish middle class social climber, Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge), who insists that her surname is pronounced "Bouquet". The show comprised five series and 44 episodes, four of which are Christmas specials. Production ended in 1995 after Routledge decided to move on to other projects. All episodes and the specials have since been released on DVD. The sitcom follows Hyacinth in her attempts to prove her social superiority, and to gain standing with those she considers upper class.
