Michael Koppelman is an American record producer and recording engineer An audio engineer (also known as a sound engineer or recording engineer) helps to produce a recording or a live performance, balancing and adjusting sound sources using equalization, dynamics processing and audio effects, mixing, reproduction, .... He worked with the artist Prince from 1989 to 1992 on his albums '' Graffiti Bridge'', '' Diamonds and Pearls'' and '' Love Symbol''. He also recorded or produced records for Ingrid Chavez, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, Frente!, Basehead, and Moxy Früvous. His current music project is called Fire Good. Michael, his brother Kurt Koppelman and friend Chuck Hermes founded the BBS Bitstream Underground in 1994. It eventually became an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Moxy Früvous was a Canadian politically satirical folk-pop band from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada. The band was founded in 1989, and was active until 2001. Frente! (or Frente) were an Australian folk- pop and indie pop group which originally formed in 1989. The original line-up consisted of Simon Austin on guitar and backing vocals, Angie Hart on lead vocals, Tim O'Connor on bass guitar (later replaced by Bill McDonald), and Mark Picton on drums (later replaced by Alastair Barden, then by Peter Luscombe).
