James Michael Johnson (born January 30, 1972) is an American attorney, politician, and former talk radio host serving as the U.S. representative for Louisiana's 4th congressional district. First elected in 2016, he is the vice chair of the House Republican Conference. He previously chaired the House Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus of conservatives in Congress, and a coalition of socially and fiscally conservative members of the larger House Republican Conference. From 2015 to 2017, Johnson served as a representative in the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 8th district in Bossier Parish. Michael Johnson (January 4, 1832 – 11 February 1908) was an American farmer from Springdale, Wisconsin, who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from Dane County, as well as holding various local offices. Background Johnson was born on January 4, 1832, in Sogn, in Bergen Stift, Norway. He moved to Windsor (town), Wisconsin, in 1853. In April 1853, he married Jone Nelson Hone, who died in June 1854. Johnson later moved to Vienna, Wisconsin, before settling in Springdale in 1856, where he bought 148 acres of land. In May of that year, he married Brita Samsonsdatter, born in 1835 in Norway. Brita died 19 April 1864, leaving him with two children. He was married once more, in March 1865, to Betsey T. Lee. They had six children together. Michael Johnson (born 24 February 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Johnson was a product of the Leeds United, Feyenoord, Crewe Alexandra, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City youth academies. He made his Premier League debut for City during the 2006–07 season and went on to become somewhat of a first team regular. While with City he was an England youth international, for both the under-19 and under-21 teams. Several injury setbacks that started during the 2008–09 season hampered his progress and he went on to only make four appearances for City in his final five years of his contract, playing his final match in a League Cup tie against Scunthorpe United in 2009. During the 2011–12 season Johnson was loaned out to Leicester City on a season long loan deal, but it was cut short due to injury. Michael Johnson (4 October 1933 – 19 July 2004) was an English professional association football player and manager. Over the course of his playing career, Johnson turned out for Newcastle United, Blyth Spartans, Brighton and Hove Albion, Gloucester City A.F.C., Gloucester City, Fulham FC, Doncaster Rovers and Barrow A.F.C., Barrow all in England before moving to Australia and playing with South Coast United, Sydney United, Metropolitan Adriatic and Sutherland Sharks. Johnson then turned his hand to management moving to the front office of the Sutherland Sharks before going on to manage St George FC, St George Saints, Blacktown City Demons, Fairy Meadow before finishing his managerial career by claiming the treble of NSW Premier League Premiership, Championship and the NSW Waratah Cup in 1992 with the Bonnyrigg White Eagles. The South Carolina Gamecocks football program represents the University of South Carolina. Michael Eric Johnson (born May 2, 1967) is an American football coach and former quarterback, and current wide receivers coach for Syracuse. He was the interim head coach for the UCLA Bruins football team after serving as their offensive coordinator. Previously, he spent two years with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. Johnson was hired along with former offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye by San Francisco head coach Mike Singletary on February 6, 2009. Raye was fired on September 27, 2010 and Johnson was promoted. Previously, he played in the USFL for the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars for two seasons. Early years Johnson attended DeMatha Catholic High School. He was recruited by coach Billy Hite to play football at Virginia Tech. He was an architecture major during his tenure during college. He was an Academic All-American in 1982.
