The twenty-second cycle of ''America's Next Top Model'' (subtitled as ''America's Next Top Model: Guys & Girls'') premiered on August 5, 2015 and is the sixteenth and final cycle to air on The CW. The network announced in mid-October that they were cancelling the show and the finale episode aired on December 4, 2015. Like the two previous cycles, cycle 22 featured both male and female contestants. However, for the first time since America's Next Top Model (cycle 13), cycle 13, the height restriction was removed and the competition was opened to contestants at any height. Tyra Banks, Kelly Cutrone and J. Alexander (model), J. Alexander returned to the judging panel, with photographer Yu Tsai remaining as creative director. The Miss Maryland USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state Maryland in the Miss USA pageant. The pageant is directed by D&D Productions. The first Miss USA winner from Maryland, Mary Leona Gage, won Miss USA 1957. However, she was later discovered to be a mother of two sons and was therefore dethroned. America's Next Top Model (season 10)
The tenth cycle of ''America's Next Top Model'' was the fourth season of the series to be aired on The CW network. The promotional catchphrase of the cycle is "New Faces, New Attitude, New York." The promotional song was " Feedback" by Janet Jackson. A few major changes were made this season. The show was moved back to New York, after being housed in Los Angeles since cycle 4. The number of contestants was also increased to 14, after being maintained at 13 since cycle 5. Finally, the judging panel, unchanged since cycle 5, was also altered; Twiggy was replaced by model Paulina Porizkova due to the former's scheduling conflicts.
