Michael Guy Chislett
Michael Guy Chislett (born 6 April 1982) is an Australian musician and producer. He is the lead guitarist and founding member of the Christian worship band Hillsong United and was the lead guitarist of the rock band the Academy Is... Career Hillsong United Chislett has played guitar on all Hillsong United albums excluding ''Look to You'' (2005) and '' Aftermath: Live in Miami'' (2012). These albums include 2019's ''People'' and 2015's ''Empires'', for which he was also the album's producer. In the United States, ''People'' sold 107,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, debuting at No. 2 on the mainstream ''Billboard'' 200 chart (dated 2 May). Being their third top ten appearance on ''Billboard'' 200, the album is the highest ranking appearance for Hillsong United on the chart, beating out the No. 5 debuts by 2015's ''Empires'' and 2013's ''Zion'', while breaking their best sales week record, formerly held by ''Empires''. The Academy Is
The Academy Is... is an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2003. Before disbanding, they were signed by the Decaydance imprint of the Fueled by Ramen label. They were originally known as "The Academy", but added the "Is..." in 2004 to avoid legal complications with other established bands already under that name. The band released three studio albums, '' Almost Here'', ''Santi'', and ''Fast Times at Barrington High'', and four EPs. The band announced their disbandment on October 8, 2011. In May 2015, lead singer William Beckett announced that the band would reunite at Riot Fest 2015 in Chicago. In addition the core members of the band Beckett, Mike Carden, Adam Siska, and Andy Mrotek, as well as Jamie Reed Schefman and Ian Crawford (both of whom had not originally been part of the band), reunited for a farewell tour that took place during December 2015. Cherrybrook Technology High School is a purpose-built government technology high school located at 28–44 Purchase Road, Cherrybrook NSW, Australia. The school was built in the late 1980s to support the rapid growth of the north-west sector in Sydney. With the school's completion and opening in 1992 the sheer size and capabilities of the school have grown beyond expectations. Steriogram were a rock band from New Zealand that formed in Auckland in 1999. The band consisted of frontman Tyson Kennedy (lead vocals and drums), Brad Carter (vocals, lead guitar and lead vocals), Tim Youngson (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Jake Adams (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Jared Wrennall (drums and backing vocals). ''Fast Times at Barrington High'' is the third studio album by American rock band The Academy Is..., released in August 2008. Background It was produced by S*A*M and Sluggo. The title refers to the high school to which William Beckett and Adam Siska went, and a play on the title of the 1982 film ''Fast Times at Ridgemont High''. The album cover photo was taken by William Beckett's sister, Courtney Beckett, and shows William sitting on a couch with Naomi, who was guitarist Michael Guy Chislett’s girlfriend at the time, whom he later married. Pete Wentz posted a blog entry saying that he heard the demos for the new album and called them, "Mind blowing. Miles away from where they were."
