Michael Gillett
Michael Gillett () (born 10 April 1973) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. Gillett played for the London Broncos in the Super League and also for the Wests Tigers, the Balmain Tigers and the Penrith Panthers in Australia. Background Gillett was born in Wentworthville, New South Wales, Australia. Playing career Gillett made his first grade debut for Penrith in Round 7 of the 1993 season against Cronulla. In 1994, Gillett joined Balmain and in his first season at the club they finished last on the table claiming the wooden spoon. Gillett played with Balmain until the end of 1999, after which they merged with Western Suburbs to form the Wests Tigers. Gillett was one of the few players signed on from Balmain for the following season to play for the new club. Wentworthville is located 27 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. The Western Suburbs Magpies (legal name: Western Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club Ltd) are an Australian rugby league football club based in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. Formed in 1908, Wests, as they are commonly referred to, were one of the nine foundation clubs of the first New South Wales Rugby League competition in Australia. The club, as a sole entity, departed the top-flight competition in 1999 after forming a 50–50 joint venture with Balmain Tigers to form the Wests Tigers. The club currently fields sides in the NSW State Cup (Canterbury Cup), Ron Massey Cup (Opens), S.G. Ball Cup (Under 18's) and Harold Matthews Cup (Under 16's) competitions. Super League
The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. The Super League began in 1996, replacing the existing Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division and, significantly, switching from a traditional winter season to a summer season. Each team plays 27 games between February and September: 11 home games, 11 away games, Magic Weekend and an additional 4 'loop fixtures' decided by league positions. Broncos And Super League
A bucking horse is any breed or either gender of horse with a propensity to buck. They have been, and still are, referred to by various names, including bronco, broncho, and roughstock. The harder they buck, the more desirable they are for rodeo events. Roughstock breeders have long established strings of bucking horses with broodmares and stallions that have been bred and crossbred to more consistently produce the desired temperaments and athletic ability needed for bareback and saddle bronc competition.
