Gerald Michael Charlebois (born April 17, 1929), better known as Michael Forest, is an American actor who provides the voices for many animated titles. Early life Born in Harvey, North Dakota, he moved with his family at a very early age to Seattle, Washington. He graduated with a B.A. in English and drama from San Jose State University. Career At age 71, Forest voiced Prince Olympius in ''Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue''. In his earlier years, he was a film and television actor, notably playing Apollo in the 1967 '' Star Trek'' episode "Who Mourns for Adonais?" He again played that role in the '' Star Trek Continues'' episode "Pilgrim of Eternity", 47 years later, with his wife, actress Diana Hale. He also appeared as a priest in a case of mistaken identity on a 1964 episode of ''The Dick Van Dyke Show''. ''Play of the Week'' is a 90-minute British television anthology series produced by a variety of companies including Granada Television, Associated-Rediffusion, ATV and Anglia Television. Synopsis From 1955 to 1967 approximately 500 episodes aired on ITV. The first production was ''Ten Minute Alibi'', produced by Associated-Rediffusion on 14 May 1956 while the earliest to survive is ''There Was a Young Lady'', transmitted on 23 July 1956 and was telerecorded (film recorded). The first production not to be transmitted live was Henrik Ibsen's ''The Wild Duck'' which was also film recorded. ''The Lover'' is a 1962 one-act play by Harold Pinter, originally written for television, but subsequently performed on stage. The play contrasts bourgeois domesticity with sexual yearning. As with the drama of Anton Chekhov, some of Pinter's plays support "serious" and "comic" interpretations; ''The Lover'' has been staged successfully both as an ironic comedy on the one hand and as a nervy drama on the other.
