Michael "Mick" Edmonds (born 13 November 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and Norwood and West Torrens Football Clubs in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Recruited from the Hamilton Imperials in the Western Border Football League (WBFL),McNicol, p. 12. Edmonds made two appearances for Collingwood in the 1986 VFL season The 1986 VFL season was the 90th season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Victoria. Michael Edmonds (9 April 1926 – 30 March 2014) was a British people, British artist and architect born in Dorset, England but with strong connections to Wales. He was a co-founder of the 56 Group Wales. Life and work Edmonds, an only child, grew up in the countryside near Wareham, Dorset, Wareham, Dorset. He was educated at King's School, Bruton, Kings School, a boarding school in Somerset, then studied at the Royal West of England School of Architecture, Bristol. As a 'Bevin Boys, Bevin boy' working in the coal mines to aid the war effort, he came to South Wales. In 1951 he married Thelma Seager, from Cardiff, and they settled in Penarth to bring up a family. Mike Edmonds (born 13 January 1944) is an English actor with dwarfism, known for his role as Little Ron in the children's television show ''Maid Marian and Her Merry Men''. Edmonds has appeared in several films, including ''Flash Gordon'' (1980), ''The Dark Crystal'' (1982), and ''Who Framed Roger Rabbit'' (1988). He played the role of Og in the Terry Gilliam film ''Time Bandits'' (1981). In ''Return of the Jedi,'' (1983) he performed as the Ewok Logray as well as the operator for Jabba the Hutt's tail. Edmonds can be seen dancing in the Men Without Hats music video "The Safety Dance" as a dwarf jester, wearing a shirt for their ''Rhythm of Youth'' album. With the death of Malcolm Dixon in 2020, Edmonds became the last surviving actor to have played one of the titular Time Bandits. Mike Edmonds is an American academic administrator, and former acting co-president of Colorado College, alongside former acting co-president Robert Moore and succeeding Jill M. Tiefenthaler. He served as co-president from July 2020 until July 1, 2021, at which point he became the Senior Vice President to Song Richardson. On June 9, 2022, Mike Edmonds announced that he would be retiring from Colorado College at the end of the 2022–23 school year. Early life and education Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, Edmonds attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, where he earned two bachelor's degrees in theater arts and speech communication, as well as a master's degree and PhD in higher education.
