Michael Edelstein
Michael Edelstein (born February 20, 1968) began his career in episodic television working CBS Entertainment. There he worked on a number of series on the network’s primetime schedule such as CSI. He then went on to work for NBC Universal Together with Marc Cherry and Tom Spezialy, Edelstein was one of the original executive producers for Desperate Housewives. The show won two Golden Globes for best comedy series and other nominations. Edelstein has been executive producer for the thriller series Threat Matrix, and sitcom Hope & Faith ''Hope & Faith'' is an American television sitcom, starring Faith Ford and Kelly Ripa as Hope Shanowski and Faith Fairfield. Marc Cherry
Marc Cherry (born March 23, 1962) is an American television writer and producer. He is best known for creating the ABC dramedy series ''Desperate Housewives''. Personal life Early life Marc Cherry was born in Long Beach and lived briefly in Oklahoma. His father was an accountant which required the family to relocate to California. After graduating from Troy High School in Fullerton, California, Cherry attended California State University, Fullerton. He graduated from the school’s theater program in 1995 and initially considered a career in performance. After winning $15,000 as a contestant on ''The $100,000 Pyramid'' in 1986, he decided to move to Hollywood and pursue writing work. His move came at a bad time; the 1988 writers strike hit as soon as Cherry arrived. Cherry broke into the industry by working as ''Designing Women'' star Dixie Carter's personal assistant. Tom Spezialy is an American television producer, director and screen writer. In 2007, began serving as executive producer of ''Reaper''. Career Spezialy began his career in 1989 writing for the CBS television series '' Doctor Doctor''. He has also written and produced for ''Parker Lewis Can't Lose'', '' Weird Science'', ''The District'', ''That Was Then'', '' Jack & Jill'', '' Ed'', and ''Dead Like Me''. He has directed a few numbers of television series such as ''Reaper'' and '' Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show''.
