Michael A. Dwyer (born June 13, 1952) is an American attorney, farmer, and politician serving as a member of the North Dakota Senate from the 47th district. Williston is a city in and the county seat of Williams County, North Dakota, United States. The 2020 census gave its population as 29,160, making Williston the sixth-largest city in North Dakota. Ralph Kilzer
Ralph L. Kilzer (born March 30, 1935) is an American politician and physician who served as a member of the North Dakota Senate for the 47th district from 1998 to 2018. Education Kilzer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint John's University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Career Kilzer served in the United States Army. He later worked as an orthopedic surgeon and as a clinical professor of surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. North Dakota Senate
The North Dakota Senate is the upper house of the North Dakota Legislative Assembly, smaller than the North Dakota House of Representatives. Per the state constitution, North Dakota is divided into between 40 and 54 legislative districts apportioned by population as determined by the decennial census. The 2000 redistricting plan provided for 47 districts, with one senator elected from each district. Senators serve four-year terms.
