Michael Dunwell
Michael Dunwell (born 6 January 1980) is an English football manager and former professional player. He is the current manager of Northern Football League First Division side Stockton Town. In his playing career, he played as a forward for Hartlepool United, Bishop Auckland, Durham City, Billingham Synthonia, Norton & Stockton Ancients, Billingham Town, Northallerton Town and Stockton Town. Early life Dunwell was born and raised in the Stockton-on-Tees area. Stockton-on-Tees
Stockton-on-Tees, often simply referred to as Stockton, is a market town in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees in County Durham, England. It is on the northern banks of the River Tees, part of the Teesside built-up area. The town had an estimated population of 84,318 in 2011. It is included in the Tees Valley mayoralty. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South. 2020–21 Northern Football League
The 2020–21 Northern Football League season was the 123rd in the history of the Northern Football League, a football competition in England. The league has operated two divisions in the English football league system, Division One at step 5, and Division Two at step 6. The allocations for Steps 5 and 6 for season 2020–21 were announced by the FA on 21 July, and were subject to appeal. Due to the restrictions on clubs' ability to play matches in the COVID-19 lockdowns, competitions at Steps 3–6 were curtailed on 24 February 2021. The league consists of four divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3 of the National League System, and the West, East and Midlands divisions at Step 4. The Northern League is a men's football league in north east England.
