Michael G. Curcio (born November 15, 1982) is an American politician from the state of Tennessee. After a heated race, Curcio lost to Shepard by 16 votes, 50.1-49.9%. Curcio soon a declared a second campaign for the seat in 2016, while Shepard announced he would retire. David Shepard (politician)
David A. Shepard (October 6, 1947 – February 4, 2021) was an American politician and a Democratic Party (United States), Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. He represented District 69 from January 2001 through January 2017. In November 2018, Shepard won election to the Dickson County, Tennessee, Dickson County County commission, Commission, defeating incumbent commissioner Tony Adams. Shepard, who had cancer, died on February 4, 2021, after contracting COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Tennessee. Cameron Sexton (born November 11, 1970) is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 25th district.
